Jaye

Jennifer Hornauer-Jocks

Jennifer Hornauer-Jocks has loved animals since she was very young. She even had dreams of becoming a veterinarian. However, her fear of needles and blood kept her from pursuing that dream. After attending Western Michigan University, Jennifer worked in the legal field for several years. Currently and for the past 15 years she has worked part time at her husband's accounting firm, Jocks & Associates, located in Trenton.

When Dr. Gregory Raspbury, a neighbor, friend and veterinarian to Jennifer's pets mentioned that he was planning to open his own practice, she immediately let him know that she had a strong desire to work with him and the animals. In January, 2008, her dream came true. Working with all the different animals and their owners has been so rewarding and fun. She has learned and continues to learn so much from Dr. Raspbury and her co-workers, and after a year and a half is no longer afraid of needles and blood.

Jennifer, whose nickname is Jaye, resides in Trenton with her husband Paul, their Golden Retriever Buck and their three cats, Buddy, Buster and Buzz. When not working at her two part-time jobs, Jennifer enjoys time with her husband, boating, swimming, gardening, reading, walking Buck, shopping and dinners out with her girlfriends. She has a sweet tooth, LOVES the color pink, Kenny Chesney and his music and wishes everyone would enjoy their job as much as she does.
